Send us a bag

Fill a bag. We do the rest.

A New York–made tote lands at your door. Toss in whatever they’ve outgrown. That’s your whole job.

We collect on Mondays. Bags and orders go out on Thursdays.

Next: a $20 bag deposit at secure Shopify checkout. $20 bag deposit, taken when your bag ships. Only on this month’s route ZIPs. It comes back in full as credit on your first sale. If nothing makes the drop, we refund it. You have 45 days to fill the bag, and we’ll extend that any time you ask.

How it works

Three steps. You only do one.

We do the rounds. Bag out Thursday, gone Monday, paid within 7 days of each sale.

01We send the bag.

03We take care of the rest.
Sorted, photographed and priced against what pieces like yours have actually sold for. When something finds its next family, your share arrives within the week — as store credit or cash, whichever you’ve told us you prefer.
What to pack

A curated shop, not a scroll.

We take premium labels — the ones New York parents already look for — and we take pieces that earn their place whatever the label says: a beautifully made coat, a collab worth having, something with real life left in it.

What we don’t do is volume. There’s no endless scroll here, because there’s nothing on the site we didn’t decide to keep.

If your bag has something special that isn’t an obvious name, send it anyway. We’d rather see it and pass than miss it.

ConditionClean and ready to wear. No rips, tears or stains — gentle wear is fine.
DetailsColor true, buttons and trims all there.
Ages0 to 6, clothing only. No shoes, gear or toys.

Most bags see a handful of pieces make the drop. That’s the standard that makes the shop worth shopping.

Your share

Paid on what it sells for. Every time.

As store credit or cash — tell us once which you prefer, change it any time. Below, the first number is credit and the second is cash. Your share is worked out on the price the piece actually sells for.

What that looks like: a Bonpoint dress that sells for $100 pays you $44 in credit, or $33 in cash. A Zara dress that sells for $40 pays $13.20 in credit, or $8.80 in cash.

FAQs

Tap a question to open it.

What makes the drop?

Nothing is listed automatically — the drop is an edit, not an inventory. Premium labels in like-new or gently worn condition, the occasional everyday name in excellent condition only, clothing only, ages 0 to 6, right for the season we’re in. We’re picky on purpose.

What brands do you take?

The ones New York parents already look for — Bonpoint, Mini Rodini, Misha & Puff, Bobo Choses and their neighbors — plus a handful of everyday names when they’re in excellent condition. A label is a guide, not a rule. Not sure? Check a brand, or toss it in and we’ll sort it.

Is the bag really $20?

It’s a deposit, not a fee — back in full as credit on your first sale, and refunded if nothing in your bag makes the drop. You have 45 days to fill it, and you can text any time to push your pickup: we’ll always say yes, there’s no limit, and asking always keeps the window open. If the bag isn’t back with us within 45 days and we haven’t heard from you at all, we keep the $20 and charge the tote’s $80 replacement cost to the same card. Together that’s what the tote costs us to make — we don’t earn a dollar on it — and we’ll always email you before any charge goes through.

What if you don’t take anything?

Then the $20 deposit comes straight back to you, no conversation needed. We’ll email you what didn’t make the drop, and you can ask for any of it back (see Can I get something back? below). Not making the drop doesn’t mean a piece isn’t wonderful; it means a kid through Good+ Foundation, Room to Grow or Little Essentials is about to love it just as much. The bag comes home with us on pickup either way, ready for the next family.

When does my bag arrive?

Thursday. Empty bags go out to new sellers on Thursdays, on the same run as our Brooklyn deliveries. Request by Wednesday night and you’re on that week’s route. Orders shipping outside Brooklyn also leave on Thursdays, separately, by USPS or FedEx.

What’s the pickup area?

We’re adding Brooklyn ZIP by ZIP, a batch each month. Right now: 11201, 11217 and 11231. Not yours yet? Join the waitlist and you’ll hear the month it opens.

Bag not out on Monday?

No problem — we’ll come the following Monday. Just let us know.

Can I get something back?

One moment, and it’s early: once we’ve sorted your bag we email you what made the drop and what didn’t. Reply to that email and anything you want back comes home on our next run through your neighborhood. After that we’re the last stop — pieces that are listed stay with us until they sell, and anything still unsold at day 90 goes to Good+ Foundation, Room to Grow or Little Essentials. So if there’s a piece you’d like to hand to a friend or keep for a sibling, do that before the bag goes out.

How long until I see my things on the site?

Usually 2–3 weeks from pickup. You’ll see each piece and its proposed price before it lists, and we’ll email you a photo the day it goes live.

What’s a bag actually worth?

It depends on the bag. On the pilot bags, about 9 pieces out of 20 were right for the drop. We’ll tell you what yours came to before anything lists.

Can you tell me what my pieces are worth first?

Not before we’ve seen them. Pricing takes the actual garment in hand — condition, season, and what pieces like it have genuinely sold for — so any number given beforehand would be a guess rather than an offer. Once your bag is sorted, you’ll see each piece and its proposed price before anything lists.

How do I actually get paid?

Store credit lands the day a piece sells. Cash goes out within 7 days of each sale. Set your preference once and change it any time — the rates are in Your share just above.

Do I need to wash everything first?

Clean if you can, don’t stress if you can’t — we handle the rest.

Do you take shoes, gear or toys?

Clothing only, ages 0 to 6. No shoes, no strollers or car seats, no toys or décor, no fine jewelry.

Are you going to do bigger sizes?

Yes, that’s the plan. Once we’ve got the mechanics right at 0–6 we’ll open up the bigger sizes, and we’ll run limited drops for them along the way. Join the waitlist and tell us the size and you’ll hear first.

Will my child’s name or photo ever appear?

Never. Pieces are listed by neighborhood at most, and only if you say yes.

Can I get a donation receipt?

Yes, if you’d like one — we’ll offer you a donation receipt from Room to Grow, Good+ or Little Essentials. Talk to your tax adviser about what it means for you.
