About

We built this because
the loop was broken.

Two New York moms. Five children between them. A pile of Bonpoint and Mini Rodini at the door — and no proper place to send it.

A pile of outgrown kids clothes
you know,
the bag!
Story

From hallway bags to resale infrastructure.

Kids grow. Closets overflow. Every parent has the same pile by the front door — the cashmere sweater worn three times, the ruffle set they never got to. Too good to donate. Too much work to sell.

Somewhere else in the city, another family is hunting for exactly that size. We were already doing it by hand — texting photos to group chats, pricing on the fly, handing off bags at school pickup. It worked. It didn't scale.

So we built the infrastructure. Outgrown comes to you, takes the pile off your hands, and turns it into credit, cash, or a good deed. You never open an app. You never list a thing. You just hand us the bag. And when you're in need of something unique another family outgrew, you can buy straight from us.

The last thing any parent needs is another side project. You need someone to handle it. That is the work.

How it works

Three steps. You only do one.

01

We send the bag.

A sturdy, reusable tote lands at your door. Toss in whatever they've outgrown — clothes. No photos. No listings. No bubble wrap.

02

We come to you.

Schedule a pickup when it works. Morning school-run window, after bedtime, Saturday — we come to your door.

03

We do the rest.

Our team sorts, photographs, prices, and sells. You choose payout — credit, cash, or a donation to a cause we've vetted.

The point

Secondhand should look first-rate.

Not a thrifted afterthought. Not a 47-photo listing on a side-app. A boutique-quality experience for the way kids actually grow — fast, beautifully, and out of every season.

Why

Kids outgrow everything.
The system didn't.

The snowsuit worn twice. The birthday dress. The shoes bought in September. That isn't waste. That's childhood. The value is already there. The system to capture it wasn't.

no thanks!

Selling is painful.

Photograph every item. Write descriptions. Set prices. Negotiate with strangers. Ship individually. Repeat — for clothes worn three months.

help.

Buying is chaos.

Endless scrolling. Unreliable quality. No curation. Inconsistent sizing. Low trust. Buying secondhand should feel like shopping a favorite boutique — not digging through a garage sale.

Founding 25

You got the bag. Here's everything else.

Your founding family page

You already know the basics — fill the bag, text us, we come get it. But being one of the founding twenty‑five comes with a few things we wanted to put in writing.

Since you're helping us build this from scratch, we're skipping the normal payout model entirely. Instead: you're grandmothered in at 40% off for life on Outgrown. Every collection, every season, for as long as we exist.

Plus, we sent you two bags — one to fill, and one that's yours to keep forever. Both are fully made in New York. This is version one. We plan to make many iterations — some our own ideas, some collaborating with local NY artists. Everything Outgrown, made in New York.

The webstore opens this September. You shop first.

P.S. We meant what we said in the card — please text or email us with any feedback at all. The good, the bad, the "have you thought about..." All of it.

Notes

Things you might ask.

We list our accepted brands above — but if you're unsure about something, toss it in. We'll sort it out and let you know.
The store launches September 2026. As a founding family, you get early access before anyone else — and your 40% off never expires.
Once the store opens in September, here's how payouts work going forward: when your item sells, you choose store credit or cash. For Signature brands (Bonpoint, Kith, Molo, Caramel, etc.) it's 55% of the sale price as store credit or 33% as cash. For Everyday brands (Zara, Baby Gap, etc.) it's 44% as store credit or 22% as cash. Cash hits your account within a few days. If an item hasn't sold after 90 days, we donate it on your behalf — and you can receive a tax receipt.
Yes! Text us whenever you're ready for another pickup. No limit, no waiting period.
They go to our NYC charity partners — Room to Grow, Good+ Foundation, and one more we're finalizing. Nothing is wasted. If you'd rather have them back, just tell us at pickup.
Our NYC charity partners are Room to Grow and Good+ Foundation. Items that don't fit either program go to a third local partner — more on that soon.
Yes — when the store launches, you'll have the option to receive a tax receipt for any items donated on your behalf.
Absolutely. Every 3–6 months — whatever the sweet spot is with you and your kiddos — we'll check in and ask if you'd like us to send another bag your way.
Please. Text us, email us, tell us at pickup. You're shaping this from the ground up — we want to hear all of it.
